Job Brief
- We are seeking to employ a Project Engineer (Civil / Structural Engineer) who will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of civil and structural engineering projects.
Job Description
- Manage and coordinate civil and structural engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards
- Develop detailed engineering plans, calculations, and designs for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the structural integrity and safety of all construction projects.
- Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in civil and structural engineering.
- Liaise with contractors and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Job Requirements
- BSc or HND in Civil / Structural Engineering and must be COREN certified with a professional engineering license.
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a civil & structural engineer in the real estate/construction industry
- Expert in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD. Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex engineering challenges.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project team members
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
