Job Summary
- Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Physics Teacher to join their esteemed faculty.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a challenging and comprehensive physics curriculum in accordance with national and school standards.
- Create lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Deliver engaging and interactive physics lessons, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technology.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Administer a variety of formative and summative assessments to gauge student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and collaborate with colleagues to address individual learning needs.
- Oversee and organize laboratory activities, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for practical experiments.
- Demonstrate and guide students in proper laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Actively participate in and support extracurricular activities related to physics, such as science clubs, competitions, and educational outings.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in physics education, teaching methodologies, and technology through continuous professional development.
- Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school's academic community.
- Establish effective communication with parents to provide updates on student progress, share insights into the curriculum, and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and school leadership to contribute to the overall success and development of the school.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Physics or a related field; a Postgraduate Degree and Teaching qualification (PGDE or equivalent) is desirable.
- Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching physics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum for Physics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
