Job Title: Manager, Finance Operations and GL

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

• Responsible for developing, monitoring finance policies, ensuring IFRS compliance, and implementing finance operations flows. Works with unit head and reports to the CFO to align processes with overall strategic objectives, ensuring efficiency in finance operations.

Deliverables

• Prepare and present error-free monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for decision-making.
• Ensure accurate presentation of annual reports for audit certification.
• Timely closure and accurate recognition of projects; drive accounting system automations.
• Constantly review processes for standardization and compliance.
• Drive IFRS compliance and accounting treatment; manage and reconcile all General Ledger/Sub-ledger Accounts.

Demonstrate (Key Competencies)
Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Economics / Banking and Finance (2.1 / Upper Credit Minimum).
• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is an added advantage.
• Professional qualification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA).
• 8+ years post-qualification experience.
• Industry experience: Banking, Corporate Financial Services, Investment Management.
• Technologically savvy with ERP knowledge.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
