• We're currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Professional Baker to lead our pastry department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of dishes and pastries with precision and creativity.
• Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food items
• Execute the preparation and production of a diverse range of high-quality pastries, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation for all pastries, conducting regular inspections to ensure products meet our exacting
• Work closely with the sales team to fulfill customer orders, both standard and custom, in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination in the production process, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Monitor and manage kitchen inventory
• Uphold sanitation and safety
• Must be able to bake all kinds of pastries.

Requirements

• Culinary Degree or equivalent certification
• 5 - 7 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a baker in food court, restaurant, hotel or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Work closely with the sales team to fulfill customer orders, both standard and custom, in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination in the production process, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
