Job Title: Phonics and Diction Instuctor
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- This is a full-time on-site role as a Phonics and Diction Instructor located in Ibadan. As a Phonics and Diction Instructor at Hewol Brothers, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a phonics-based curriculum and teaching students how to speak correctly in English.
- You will work with both children and adults, providing phonics lessons, speech therapy sessions, and cultural sensitivity training.
- You will also collaborate with other instructors, assess students' progress, and make adjustments to the curriculum as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Communication, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in phonics instruction, speech therapy, and/or teaching English as a second language
- Advanced knowledge of phonetics, phonology, and speech acoustics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with both children and adults in multicultural settings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with curriculum design and lesson planning
- Knowledge of multiple accents and cultural sensitivity training is a plus
