Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our dynamic Hospital. A
  • s the CNO, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in nursing practices across our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's goals. Provide visionary leadership to the nursing staff and promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care by setting and maintaining high standards, developing evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a skilled nursing team. Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance staff performance and promote career growth.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare teams, physicians, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and effective communication across the organization.
  • Develop and manage the nursing budget, allocate resources efficiently, and identify cost-effective strategies to optimize patient care delivery without compromising quality.
  • Establish performance metrics, monitor key performance indicators, and analyze data to evaluate nursing operations' effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and legal guidelines governing nursing practices and healthcare services.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks related to patient care, safety, and operational issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in nursing practices, and technology to introduce innovative solutions and implement best practices within the nursing department.

Qualifications

  • Must be a registered nurse/midwife. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years nursing experience, preferably in a privately owned healthcare establishment/institution, 5 of which should be in an administrative/supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster a culture of excellence, and achieve positive outcomes in patient care.
