Sponsorship Liaison and Operations Manager at the Confederation of African Football (CAF)

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) was founded in 1957 by four nations: Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and South Africa. As the administrative body of the region, CAF manages competitions, offers technical and administrative training courses while actively fostering the promotion and practice of football. The Confederation organizes championships such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN or AFCON), the most popular competition. It maintains very close links with FIFA in coordinating tournaments for different events such as the World Cup, Youth and Women competitions and the Olympic Games Football Tournaments.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sponsorship Liaison and Operations Manager

Location: Cairo, Egypt
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Work with the Sponsorships and Operations team on preparing for CAF competitions different aspects and retro-planning.
• Maintain the relationship with the sponsors on day-to-day communications, inquiries, and planning.
• Prepare for the sponsors on-ground activations and the necessary logistics behind it.
• Archive and track sponsors contracts.
• Work on ground Marketing operations competitions and events: maintain all related marketing and sponsorship elements with the teams, stadium management, branding agency, LEDs, and digital activations.
• Prepare sponsorship reports post-events.
• Create activation concepts and follow up on their implementation.
• Other matters requested by the line manager.

Requirements (Profile)

• Bachelor's Degree in in Business Administration, or Sports Management, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Sport Management or Similar is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Similar position.
• Fluent in English and French language both written and spoken; command of Arabic is a plus.
• Agility, Proactiveness and teamwork are highly appreciated.
• Comfortable with frequent travel for long periods of time.
