Amadeus University is a private University located in Amizi, Ikwuano LGA, Abia State. Recently approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and licenced by the National Universities Commission (NUC), the University is a unique brand in Nigerian tertiary education, devoted to innovation, excellence, and high ethical standards, providing dynamic education and research tailored to the demands of the 21st century. Job Title: Registrar

Location: Amizi, Abia

Job Description

• The Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer of the University/Head of the Registry.
• He/she is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative workflow of the University, except as regards matters for which the Bursar is responsible.
• By virtue of the foregoing, the Registrar is the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation of the University.

Eligibility Criteria
An interested candidate must possess the following:

• A good honours degree;
• Competent ICT and digital skills;
• He/she must have attained the rank of Deputy Registrar in a University;
• Be a member of a relevant professional body e.g. Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM) etc.

Salary and Conditions of Service

• The salary and Conditions of Service is attractive and comparable with top Nigerian private universities.
• Tenure: Candidates shall hold office for a single term of five years only, on such terms and conditions, specified ab initio, in their Letters of Appointment and any others approved, from time to time, by the Governing Council. In all cases, appropriate cognate experience (i.e. previous/current service in the substantive position) will be an advantage.
