Job Title: Inventory Controller - Artificial Lift (Chad)

Role Summary/Purpose
  • The Inventory Controller - Artificial Lift (Chad) role is based in a remote part of Chad, Africa on rotational basis: 35 on/35 off.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Take control of and implement the Artificial Lift ESP Chad inventory control and reporting system.
  • Make recommendations for system changes to improve inventory control.
  • Take control of AL ESP Chad inventory
  • Ability to switch to and utilize a server based system when available in Chad
  • Review and upgrade systems for receiving and issuing inventory for Chad Shop and Field Operations
  • Develop systems for receiving used equipment into inventory. Take control of all certification and testing data for new and repaired equipment so that all pertinent test data enters work order files.
  • Develop systems for taking into inventory and issuing equipment reconditioned by Chad Shop, including test data as referenced above.
  • Supervise existing Assistant Inventory Controller
  • Supervise Storemen, stores and yard
  • Other Administrative duties can be assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Technical degree in inventory management Fluency in English both written and spoken Computer skills including Microsoft Office. Experience with Syteline a plus.
  • 5 years Inventory management experience, 2 years as department lead.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, including traveling to Chad, Africa at least 5 times per year on the rotational base: 35 days on/ 35 days off.
  • Ability to be based in the camp

1.) Working Conditions - Geographically remote, onshore, office based role where the following factors are prevalent:
  • Extreme weather conditions - heat/humidity, cold, wind, altitude
  • Harsh living conditions - work locations may have limited access to medical services and, where available, the medical services available may be limited
2.) Physical Demands - Light:
  • Exertion - of up to 20lbs/~10kgs of force occasionally. Exerting up to 10lbs/~5kg of force frequently. Negligible amount of force to move objects, constantly.
  • Physical activities - stand, walk, use hands, lift and carry. Sitting - most/some time.
  • Health Certificate - required as proof that an employee can perform the essential functions of this job under the work conditions described above.
