Job Title: Senior Property Manager

Ibadan and Lagos

Job Description
  • Reporting to the General Manager (Property) and interfacing with all Departmental Heads and the company public, both internal and external, the Property Manager is responsible to the General Manager (Property) for all aspects of property management functions of the company in line with the Group's policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Daily update of tenancy schedule which includes vital details of rent payment, tenancy period, place of tenant's employments, terms of payments and tenancy status.
  • Writing of rent reminders, rents renewal letters, rent review letters and quit notices and serving of same.
  • Creating a conducive interface between tenants and the landlord (listening to tenant's complaints while ensuring the fulfilment of the Landlord's contractual obligations).
  • Supervision of repair work undertaken by team (structural, electrical and services repairs inclusive)
  • Identification and evaluation of lettable/marketable landed properties.
  • Site acquisition and feasibility study of suitability of and parcels for specific project development
  • Reviews, renewals and termination of leases.
  • Property and facility management.
  • Periodic routine management and inspection of property components in relations to uses as specified in tenancy agreements.
  • Rent collection, review and termination or leases.
  • Regular repairs and renovation works on all properties
  • Any other lawful duty which may, from time to time, be assigned by management
Qualification and Experience
  • A good first Degree in Estate Management.
  • Membership of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIEVS) is obligatory.
  • Minimum of 7-12 years' experience in a similar position, 5 years of which should be at Senior Management level.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with clients, government officials and professionals.
  • Must be a confident and assertive team player with good communication skills and high proficiency in Computer use and multimedia application.
  • Paying critical attention to details, and must have excellent quantitative, analytical skills and be able to approach problems logically and creatively.

The remuneration package attached to this position is attractive, within industry standard and negotiable.
