Subtle Fabrics is a trans-generational fabrics and fashion brand, that has been in existence since1 956. We operate an in-store and an e-commerce business based in31, John Street, Lagos Island, Lagos; providing all sorts of high-end lace and fabric materials for our esteemed customers to use for their occasions and to adorn their style in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.

We sell our products offline – through our physical store, sales agency – through our community of resellers and online – through our website, other e-commerce platforms, and social media pages. We also offer style advisory services in-store and through our fashion blog.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8.00 AM - 6.00 PM
Work Mode: Hybrid - 5 days onsite, 1 day remote

Summary

• We seek a young and talented mind to join our amazing team as Marketing / Community Management Personnel for immediate hire.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Create and manage content on all online platforms; Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Threads, and the website.
• Create a weekly/monthly social media calendar with five minimum frequencies of scheduled posts daily.
• Create graphics content and video content (scripts) for all social media platforms
• Keep all social communities active and engaged at all times (strategic commenting)
• Create and manage marketing plans
• Create and send marketing emails to customers
• Manage online sponsored adverts
• Create on-brand, visually appealing, and engaging video content
• Create effective social media captions and calls to action
• Must be able to use all the above social media platforms very well.
• Create good pictures and videos of products, behind-the-scenes, etc. for social media
• Generate weekly and monthly social media/marketing performance reports

Skills / General Requirements

• Minimum of OND qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Must have a good command of the English language (speaking and writing)
• Must be very cheerful, with high and positive energy.
• Courteous, polite, and respectful
• Honest, diligent, and punctual
• Must be ready to put on provided branded tops at work
• Must be proficient with the use of computer & basic software; MS Office tool, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be good at taking very good pictures.
• Must be good at making and editing very good videos
• Must have basic photo & video editing skills with the use of photo and video editing mobile Apps.
• Proven work experience in customer service, team building, marketing, or similar roles
• Must be persuasive and able to convince prospective customers
• Must reside within Lagos Island, Yaba, Surulere, Ebute-meta, or very close environs.

Salary
N80,000 monthly.
