Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for an astute procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and high quality.
• The procurement officer's responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Description

• Handling all activities relating to procurement of items.
• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies procedures.
• Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as price, location, delivery times, products range e.t.c
• Maintain good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
• Monitor market trends and conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Salary
N80,000.00 / Month.
