Job Title: Operation Support Executive

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Port Harcourt - River, Kano, Lagos and Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Operations Support is responsible for providing operational assistance as this position involves supporting fulfilment and logistics activities and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.

Job Responsibilities

• Receives invoices to ascertain ordered items and quantities and pick appropriate items from location (right quantity and description)
• Inspect items for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Load selected items onto trucks or containers in a safe and organized manner, utilizing proper loading techniques and securing methods.
• Loads, offloads, and transfers items to designed Locations in accordance to ensure all items are accurately loaded (right quantity and description)
• Supervise loading and offloading of trucks at various regional destination
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely and accurate information to team members and clients.
• Assist in managing and tracking shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any logistical issues that may arise.
• Travel within regional states to accomplish the assigned task
• Share a copy of Proof of delivery to the supervisor after delivery
• Ensure all loaded items are documented accordingly.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand carts, to transport items within the warehouse.

Job Requirements

• SSCE, High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in business administration or related field is a plus.
• Must be able to do simple math and count accurately.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and inspecting products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and service providers.
• Must have a functional smartphone
• Must be able to perform tasks in extreme-temperature environments.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Must ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Must be well organized.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly, following proper lifting techniques.
• Must be able to travel within and outside the states to accomplish assigned tasks

Salary
N40,000 / month.
