We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Contract & Sub-Contract Associate

Locations: Abuja & Akwa Ibom

Job Description
Grants Management:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to actively participate in writing grant proposals, responding to RFPs/FOAs, and completing application forms in Grants.gov and ASSIST applications.
  • Offering timely and knowledgeable support in grants, contracts, and procurement for HQ departments and field offices.
  • Assisting the Grants & Contracts Officer in implementing grants policies and effectively coordinating various grants activities.
  • Compiling Monthly Spend plans, Work plans, and Burn-rate analyses.
  • Preparing Budget submissions aligned with best financial practices and principles for Grant proposals.
  • Managing the ECEWS Grants SharePoint interface, including template revisions and addition of resource materials as necessary.

Contracts:

  • Drafting Consultants Contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and modifications, adhering ECEWS standards.
  • Ensuring proper documentation, maintenance, and tracking of LOAs, MOUs, and Budgets.
  • Addressing external auditors' requests related to SOPs, MOUs with funding partners, and Letters of Agreement with implementing partners.
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Accounting or related field and 7-9 years relevant experience.
  • Or M.Sc./MBA with 5-7 years relevant experience in an NGO setting.
  • Relevant software skills to include spreadsheet and data base software and Management Information Systems.
  • Working knowledge of donor (USAID, CDC, DFID, Global Fund) contract and grant agencies are required.
  • Ability to interpret funding regulations and develop implementing procedures is required.
