Reime West Africa is a fully owned subsidiary of a global brand with head office at Casablanca in Morocco that provides Telecom Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Services to Telecom companies in Nigeria

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Trainee

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• To guide and support the company teams in the compliance and monitoring of all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and management systems.
• To support and enable effective Accident and Incident investigations to be completed in order to identify the immediate and underlying causes and the appropriate corrective actions.
• To provide the appropriate level of challenge and help in developing actions to avoid repeat incidents.
• Facilitate the effective communication of HSE issues and learning points generated by site observations and from the corporate HSE teams.
• Assist with and/or complete regular formal safety inspections and internal audits as required.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
• HSE system auditing experience.
• Clear understanding and belief in behavioural-based HSE leadership.
• Ability to work in a calm, controlled approach with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Self-starter and able to use initiative.
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
