Job Title: Butchery Manager

Location: Magodo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising the day-to-day operations
• Responsible for ordering, presentation, merchandising and promotions.
• Analyze sales figures, increase sales, and forecast future sales.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards mandated by the state and federal.
• Work with equipment like meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives.
• Provide excellent customer service and are responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the department.
• Process and receive customer payments for goods using POS system and other payment channels.
• Operate all equipment including band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, power jacks, knives, and cutters.
• Ensure associates run equipment safely.
• Monitoring food safety requirements for meat storage and handling
• Helping when employees are unusually busy.
• Dealing with customer complaints and recommendations
• Monitoring product inventories and trends in consumer buying to anticipate which products will be in demand.
• Deciding how merchandise should be displayed.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Management, or any related field.
• At least two years’ work experience in Butchery role
• Must be a Computer Literate
• Must live around Berger, Magodo, Ketu, Isheri, Olowora, Opic and environs.
• Must be ready to resume immediately.
