Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ughelli. Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, handling cash, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and credit transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and check payments in an organized and secure manner.
• Reconcile cash drawers and prepare bank deposits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial reporting and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in cashiering or handling cash transactions
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location Requirement:

• Applicants must reside in Ughelli or its immediate environs to be considered for this position.
