Sabiroad Logistics International Company is a technology company that provides an end-to-end haulage solution to help shippers, Truck Owners and Liners alike, to enjoy a seamless supply chain service delivery. We provide efficient logistics solutions that help shippers and carriers move cargo within ports and terminals, from ports to and from warehouses with a suite of digital end-to-end products that provide visibility and real time tracking.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Locations: Ikorodu Terminal and Lekki Free Port - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Head of Operations

Job Objective

• This opening is for a results-driven and strategically minded professional with a proven track record in optimizing operational efficiency and driving growth within the logistics sector.
• Extensive experience in managing end-to-end logistic operations (3PL), implementing innovative solutions, and leading high-performance teams to enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully manage multiple projects while embracing the fast pace of our company.
• Ensure full compliance in adopting our technology to optimise logistics operations.
• Manage the day-to-day issues with transporters and operations as they occur.
• Ensure all transporters onboarded are in full compliance with SLA agreements, insurance, safety, and all other requirements.
• Ensure that no liabilities are incurred, and any demurrage is acted on promptly.
• Identifying and resolving the root cause of issues and not just focusing on the symptoms.
• Manage timely invoicing and payment collection.
• Provide necessary operations reports in a timely manner.
• Manage all client and stakeholder relationships effectively.

Requirements
We are looking for:

• Candidates should possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years experience in a fast-paced logistics and operations business focused on trucking.
• Ability to tackle issues that involve people and processes effectively.
• Ability to work with diverse teams collaboratively.
• Confident and analytical with the ability to lead and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to make decisions quickly yet thoroughly using facts and data.
