We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hausa Volunteer News Writer and Reporter

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Kano, Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Jagawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe & Zamfara
Employment Type: Volunteer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update online content and provide social media support, posting to social networking sites as directed;
• Write articles such as success stories, press releases, speeches, etc;
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Furthermore, UN Volunteers are encouraged to:

• Contribute articles/write-ups on field experiences and submit them for publications/websites, newsletters, press releases, etc.;
• Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability;
• Highest standards of integrity, discretion and loyalty.
