Position Overview

  • We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Medical Consultants across a wide array of specialties to join our esteemed team at Redeemers Health Village.
  • As a Medical Consultant, you will be a key leader in your respective specialty, providing expert medical care, clinical expertise, and mentorship while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and patient-centered care.

Specialisation:

  • Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Orthopaedic, Intensive Care/Trauma, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics, ENT, Haematology/Blood Transfusion, Dental/Maxillofacial Surgery, Gastroenterology, Neonatal, Pain Management, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Urology, Pulmonology, Dental, Endoscopy

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior clinical leadership and specialized medical care within your designated specialty area, ensuring accurate diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive patient management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, residents, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to research, academic activities, and quality improvement initiatives within your specialty area.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in line with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records/documentation of patient consultations, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Fellowship in a relevant subspecialty from either the National Postgraduate Medical College (NPMC) or the West African College of Surgeons (WACS).
  • Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for foreign-trained specialists.
  • Valid practicing license in Nigeria.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter for Nigerian citizens.
