Modo designs is a furniture production and interior designs company located at Elemoro, Lekki, Lagos. Our mandate is to redefine your space within budget, provide quality services and complete transparency with our clients on creating a perfect home.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are executed efficiently and according to specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, laborers, and equipment to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance and accuracy in construction activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess quality control, identify issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any concerns.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on cost control measures to ensure projects stay within financial parameters.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a project manager or similar role in the industry.
• Must live on the island and must know how to dress appropriately.
• Amicable knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Have a flair for furniture and interior design.
• Male applicants preferably
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle unexpected challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting positive working relationships.
• Being mobile would be an added advantage.
