Job Description

• We are seeking for a passionate and dedicated Creative Art Teacher to join thieir educational institution.
• The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and express their creativity through various art forms.
• This role involves developing engaging art curriculum, teaching students of different age groups, and fostering an environment that encourages artistic growth and self-expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement art curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes creativity.
• Deliver art lessons, workshops, and projects to students, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
• Mentor and guide students in developing their artistic skills and techniques. Inspire students to think creatively, experiment with various mediums, and express themselves through art.
• Provide constructive feedback on student artwork and assist them in improving their skills, Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment, ensuring a safe and conducive space for artistic exploration.
• Educate students about different art movements, styles, and artists to foster an appreciation for the history of art.
• Incorporate relevant art-related software and technology tools into the teaching process.
• Evaluate student performance, prepare and conduct assessments, and maintain records of student progress.
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications

• OND, NCE, or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Strong artistic skills and proficiency in various art forms.
• Passion for nurturing creativity in students.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing art curriculum and lesson plans.
• Familiarity with art-related software and technology tools.
• A portfolio showcasing personal artwork or student work.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus.

Salary
N45,000 - N50,000 / month.
