We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Jumbo Operator - BAGCO

Location: Kano

Purpose of the Job

• Processing and cutting/ assembling printed and non-printed, laminated and non-laminated reels into predetermined dimensions manually via the use of sewing machine.

The Job

• Document breakdown report
• Keep working environment neat
• Report breakdown to engineering team promptly.
• Ensure good weaving bags.
• Adherence with production planning& schedule
• Resources allocation (labor & material).
• Ensure efficiency and waste reduction Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
• Ensure Health Safety & Environment standard (HSE), Housekeeping (5S Standard)
• Awareness, understanding and application of quality policy on assigned jobs.
• Awareness, understanding and application departmental /process quality objectives.
• Awareness of your contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS, including the benefits of improved performance including associated opportunities for improvement of the processes assigned.
• Awareness of the implications of not conforming with the Company QMS requirements including associated risks for the process assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• NABTEB/ Trade Test.
• 2 years experience in a similar role.

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have outstanding attention to details.
• Be able to maintain high concentration level.
• Possess the ability to work in a team and independently.
