Job Title: Loan Collection Officer

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Working hours: Monday to Sunday with a day off each week

Job Description

• We are seeking a Loan Recovery / Collection Officer to join our team. As a Loan Recovery/Collection Officer, you will be responsible for managing and collecting defaulters loans on behalf of our clients, ensuring timely payment and reducing the risk of loan defaults.

Responsibilities

• Contact defaulting borrowers on behalf of our clients to discuss payment options and negotiate payment arrangements
• Develop and maintain relationships with defaulting borrowers, ensuring open communication and a professional approach
• Monitor and manage defaulters accounts, identifying risks and taking proactive measures to prevent further delinquency
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of defaulters accounts, including all communication and correspondence with borrowers
• Work closely with our clients to develop effective collection strategies and minimize loan losses
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit regular reports on delinquent accounts to our clients, including analysis and recommendations for further action

Qualifications / Requirement / Responsibilities

• OND / HND / B.Sc
• Minimum Requirement: 1 to 2 years experience as a Loan Collection Agent
• Proven experience in loan recovery/collection or related field
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to loan recovery and collection

Remuneration

• Basic Pay: N60,000 monthly
• Bonus Pay: N70,000
• Transport A: N10,000
