We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Head of School

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Assistant Head of School will work closely with the Head teacher and senior leadership team to provide professional leadership and management for the school.
  • This is in order to secure exemplary standards and the best possible experience and outcomes for students.
  • The holder of this post is expected to carry out the professional duties to the extent required by the Headteacher or the Governing Board.
  • They are required to take a leading role in the managing of day-to-day operations and upholding the values and ethos of the school.

The core purpose of the post:

  • To ensue the all activities planned in the school improvement plan are completely executed and to look for creative solutions to address barriers
  • To set up and coordinate leadership meetings reporting on accomplished tasks, delayed tasks, and upcoming tasks and taking meeting notes
  • To ensure the school learning environment leads to successful outcomes for all pupils
  • To ensure that there are high-expectations for spiritual and moral growth, attitudes to learning, behaviour and personal development
  • Lead on the strategic planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of high standards of behaviour, progress and well-being
  • To provide outstanding leadership and management to, and of, all staff
  • To safeguard the welfare of all children, enabling every child, whatever their background or their circumstances, to have the support they need
  • To work closely with the Senior Leadership Teamto provide effective day-to-day management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess B.Ed, PGCE Degrees with 3+ years relevant work experience.
