Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Days: Mondays to Saturdays

Job Description

• A role is open for a Junior Accountant who will record and maintain financial transactions while producing required financial reports.

Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant is responsible for:

• Recording day to day financial transactions
• Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
• Maintaining and updating fixed asset register
• Entering financial data, maintaining records, creating reports and financial statements
• Reconciling sales tax and bank statements
• Working closely with the Accountant
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
• Educating staff on the need to obtain and present vouchers, invoices and receipts
• Maintaining vouchers and receipts for tax and audit purposes
• Generating and printing expense reports (monthly, quarterly and annually)

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Accounting
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in MS Office applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
• Proficiency in Accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• High level of integrity and ethics.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
