Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our team and elevate the overall bar experience.
• Candidate will report directly to general management; and should possesses strong leadership and communication skills, experience, in-depth industry knowledge, familiarity with industry trends , and the ability to optimize profitability.

Responsibilities
Staff Management:

• Recruit, and supervise bar staff.
• Set work schedules and manage staffing levels to ensure optimal performance.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.

Customer Service:

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
• Train staff on menu offerings and encourage upselling techniques.

Financial Management:

• Track and analyze sales data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service.

Marketing and Promotions:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional activities.
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain customers.

Events and Entertainment:

• Plan and execute events to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Coordinate with performers or entertainment for scheduled events.

Requirements

• Secondary School Certification and above
• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role.
• Previous experience in bartending or other relevant roles.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and beverage trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
