Description

• Be a vital part of our team as a Bar Back, supporting bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of our bar. We seek individuals with previous bar back or support experience, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Join us in creating a vibrant and efficient bar atmosphere.

Responsibilities
Support Operations:

• Assist bartenders by prepping drinks, restocking supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
• Ensure a well-organized and efficiently stocked bar to facilitate smooth operations.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including counters, sinks, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and used glassware promptly.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and track inventory levels to anticipate and fulfill bartender needs.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.

Assist Bartenders:

• Support bartenders during busy periods by retrieving and preparing ingredients.
• Handle routine tasks, allowing bartenders to focus on customer service.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by promptly fulfilling drink orders and requests.
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with bartenders and other staff to create a cohesive and efficient team.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow.

Adherence to Policies:

• Comply with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Follow guidelines for the proper handling and disposal of materials.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a relevant qualification with at least 2 years experience.
• Previous experience in a bar back or similar support role (preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and drink preparation.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
