Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our salon. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide professional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair. Your creativity, technical skills, and ability to provide exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall success of our salon and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and any specific hair care requirements.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable hairstyles, cuts, colors, and treatments based on clients' hair type, face shape, and personal style.
• Perform various hair services, including cutting, styling, blow-drying, coloring, highlighting, perming, and straightening, while ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain knowledge of current hair trends and techniques to offer modern and up-to-date styling options to clients.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain salon tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for clients.
• Conduct hair and scalp analysis to identify any issues or conditions and recommend appropriate hair care products or treatments.
• Upsell salon products and services, such as hair care products, styling tools, and additional treatments, to enhance the client experience and increase revenue.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the service.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base by establishing strong relationships, maintaining client records, and providing personalized recommendations and follow-ups.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, preferably in a salon or spa setting.
• Excellent knowledge and proficiency in a wide range of hair care services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments.
• Strong understanding of different hair types, textures, and styles, and the ability to recommend suitable options for clients.
• Proficient in using salon equipment, tools, and products.
• Creativity and artistic flair to create unique and personalized hairstyles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively understand clients' needs and preferences.
• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
• Proper licensing and certification as required by local regulations.
