We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Enumerator

Job Location: Lagos
Duration and Timeline: 15 days with possibility of extension if required
Coverage: 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) within Lagos State. Each enumerator will cover a designated LGA.

Background

  • The Group Antenatal Care (GANC) project in Lagos aims to enhance antenatal and postnatal care by implementing both facility and community-based approaches across 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs). Data collection is vital for monitoring and evaluating project outcomes. We are seeking data enumerators to support the implementation of the project in Lagos State.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data collection activities using the Kobo Collect data entry app.
  • Adhere strictly to data collection protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards throughout data collection.
  • Report any challenges or discrepancies encountered during data collection.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in data collection or similar roles is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with mobile data collection tools, especially Kobo Collect, is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Residency in or familiarity with the selected LGAs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lagos state and her health-care sector will be an added advantage.
