Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technical Support Engineer with expertise in creating Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support for our CCTV systems and will be responsible for preparing accurate BOQs for projects.
• The successful candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of CCTV technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CCTV systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV hardware and software.
• Collaborate with field technicians and clients to ensure efficient system operation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in CCTV systems.
• Utilize expertise in CCTV systems to prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Ensure BOQs comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support in the procurement process by assisting with vendor selection and cost estimation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all CCTV systems, configurations, and modifications.
• Create and update technical manuals, guidelines, and training materials for end-users and technical staff.
• Document BOQs in a clear and organized manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.
• Perform quality checks on CCTV installations and configurations to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Participate in regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in CCTV technical support and BOQ preparation.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, and networking.
• Proficiency in creating detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certification in relevant CCTV technologies is a plus.
