Job Title: Medical Doctor

Job Description

• We are looking for a Medical Doctor who can provide expert support to our team.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or clinical setting and be able to guide a variety of medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patient health records
• Evaluate medical records and reports to determine patient’s health status, needs, and treatment, and advise physicians and other healthcare specialists
• Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide follow-up care
• Advise patients on preventative and healthy habits
• Provide support for clinical and administrative functions
• Serve as primary healthcare provider for patients
• Contribute to business development and Strategic Planning
• Attend regular staff meetings
• Assist with patient referrals and follow-up
• Prepare and maintain patient charts, reports, and patient records
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Perform emergency medical services such as diagnosis, assessment, resuscitation, treatment and patient referrals when necessary.
• Ensure the highest standard of patients care and make medical prescriptions for patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine
• Candidates must possess NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption lette
• 2 - 5 years experience in a medical practice or hospital
• Good demonstrated knowledge of clinical procedures, disease processes and appropriate use of medical technologies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines

Certification:

• Candidate must possess certification from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and currentpracticing Licence.
