We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Roles & Responsibilities

• The position is responsible for the administration of the college library, coordination of library services, and overseeing daily operations.
• The position is also responsible for organizing and managing all resources in the library, assisting library visitors in conducting research and locating resources, and evaluating library inventory needs and placing orders
• The librarian identifies technology needs and make recommendations, oversees the work of other employees and provides feedback, reads publication announcements to get new texts, and creates community programs that increase library awareness

Qualifications

• Must have a good Degree or its equivalent in Library Science and Information or a degree in relevant discipline with MLS (PhD in relevant fields would be added advantage). 
• Must be registered /eligible for registration with Library Registration Council of Nigeria. 
• Minimum of five years cognate experience in higher institution or its equivalent. 
• Must be computer literate.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess the minimum academic and professional requirements for each role as stated below.
• Unless otherwise stated, a minimum of a second-class lower degree is required and the candidate must have completed the mandatory NYSC program.
• Candidate must also be computer literate, technology savvy, possess good interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work effectively in teams.
