Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee overall store management.
  • The ideal candidate will excel in enhancing customer satisfaction, achieving sales and profitability targets, and effectively managing staff.
  • Successful candidates will have a background in financial planning, employee recruitment, or retail management, with responsibilities including supervising assistant store managers.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies to expand the customer base, increase store traffic, and optimize profitability.
  • Achieve sales goals by training, motivating, and mentoring sales staff while providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage store administration, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Uphold outstanding store conditions and adhere to visual merchandising standards.
  • Report on buying trends, customer needs, and profits.
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance market share.
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals, assess training needs, and build career paths.
  • Address issues arising from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.).
  • Set an example of good behavior and high performance.
  • Fulfill additional store manager duties as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
  • 4-7 years of work experience, with 3-4 years in a pharmacy supermarket.
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy is essential.
  • Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager.
  • Strong leadership and business orientation.
  • Customer management skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
