We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development and Client Relations Manager

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • To lead and manage the business development activities of the company in the oil and gas servicing sector, focusing on securing new contracts and partnerships with IOCs in Nigeria.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan focused on securing contracts and partnerships with International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Nigeria.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the upstream sector of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, new market opportunities and develop strategies to increase company revenue.
  • Negotiate and manage all business contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company, and compliance with company, Industry and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely compilation of Tender/bid documents and submission of tenders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the IOCs and E&P companies in Nigeria, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, tenders, presentations, reports, etc., to showcase the company’s capabilities and value proposition to potential clients.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedbacks, industry best practices, etc.,to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, Engineering (Mechanical or Petroleum), or related field.
  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales management in the oil and gas servicing sector.

Competence Requirements:

  • Experience in managing contracts or agreements with IOCs or E&P companies is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the upstream sector of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, and familiarity with key projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
  • Exceptional relationship & people management skills
  • Strong negotiation skills & ability to close deals effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines,
  • Proven intelligence-gathering skills
