We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supermarket Floor Attendant

Locations: Kubwa, Jabi Airport Road, Lugbe, Apo - Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description 
Customer Assistance:

• Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers on the sales floor.
• Answer customer inquiries, offer product information, and guide shoppers to specific items.

Stocking and Merchandising:

• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock as needed.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and shelving merchandise.
• Keep track of inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock situations.

Price Labeling:

• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products on the shelves.
• Update and replace price tags as needed.

Store Cleanliness:

• Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and free of debris.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.

Assistance with Displays:

• Collaborate with the merchandising team to set up displays and promotional materials.
• Maintain the visual presentation standards of the store.

Customer Engagement:

• Engage with customers in a courteous manner to enhance their shopping experience.
• Assist in carrying items, locating products, and providing information about promotions.

Security and Loss Prevention:

• Monitor for shoplifting or suspicious behavior and report any incidents to the security team.
• Follow company policies related to loss prevention.

Compliance with Policies:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or supermarket setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail in maintaining store appearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Salary
N35,000 / month.
