Job Description

• As a Wood Cutting Machinist, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing team, responsible for operating and maintaining precision wood cutting machinery.
• This role demands a high level of technical proficiency in wood machining processes, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality components for our products.
• You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation:

• Operate wood cutting machinery, such as saws, routers, and CNC machines, to cut and shape wood components according to specifications.
• Ensure the accurate setup and programming of machines for each production run.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular inspections of finished pieces to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to machines to correct any deviations from the required measurements.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Perform routine maintenance on wood cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and address any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Material Handling:

• Load and unload materials onto the machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing.
• Manage raw material inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when operating machinery.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any production challenges.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 5+ years relevant work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
