The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) was established in 2010 by the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act. NCDMB is vested with the mandate to make procedures that will guide, monitor, coordinate and implement the provisions of the NOGICD Act signed into law on April 22, 2010. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring on-board operations as per rules and regulations
  • Planning production and maintenance activities to accomplish production objectives
  • Establishing an organizational safety management system
  • Encouraging safety culture
  • Executing the Permit to Work (PTW) System
  • Updating and maintaining documents
  • Facilitating compliance with mandatory procedures and regulations pertaining to production operations
  • Managing production/platform operation functions
  • Handling emergencies
  • Promoting preventive maintenance activities
  • The Offshore Installation Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of the following:
  • Methods of all hydrocarbon systems and their safety
  • Procedure for isolation and depressurization
  • Hazards related to pipelines
  • Process troubleshooting techniques
  • Offshore health safety and environmental legislation
  • Legislation governing waste management and pollution prevention
  • Installation of emergency response organization and plans

Qualifications

  • Interested applicants must possess a minimum of Bachelor's Degree or similar educational qualification in a relevant branch of engineering or engineering science from a recognized institution and must be a chartered engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and supervision of engineering designs
