Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Job Summary
- As an Assistant Accountant will be responsible for posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, maintaining accounts, receivables, or payables and administering monthly payroll for employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Requirements
- HND / BSc in Accounting or any related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven work experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Being a chartered accountant is an added advantage.
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
