Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children with special needs, particularly those diagnosed with Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD. Job Description

  • As a Program Coordinator at Candlelight Foundation for Children with Special Needs, you'll play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and implementing our various programs and initiatives.
  • You'll work closely with our overall team, partners, and the community to create and manage programs that align with our mission and serve our community effectively.
  • This position also involves fund generation and onboarding therapists, ensuring the smooth running of the organization under the direction of the Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute programs that support our mission, meeting the needs of children with Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including educators, therapists, parents, and volunteers, to ensure effective delivery and impact of our programs.
  • Coordinate with the overall team to effectively promote our programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage our program budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Compile and maintain records and reports related to program activities.
  • Facilitate community engagement through workshops, seminars, and other events.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, news, and best practices related to Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD.
  • Generate funds for the organization and manage relationships with donors and sponsors.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage therapists and other professionals to support our programs.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the organization under the direction of the Directors.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Program Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the non-profit sector or related to special needs.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and related topics, with a willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest research and developments.
  • A compassionate and empathetic mindset, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
