Zinnok is currently working in Partnership with Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN) in the ACCESS PROJECT in Abia state, exemplifying its ongoing commitment to expanding its impact and addressing critical issues in the region.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Program Officer

Location: Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The incumbent will provide technical support and supervision in collaboration with ACCESS project management teams to ensure the successful planning and implementation of HIV service delivery activities at the community level including work plan development, target setting, supportive supervision, and reporting.
  • S/he will also provide technical support and expertise, coordination and supervision of all HIV Care and Treatment activities at the community level within the assigned ACCESS project LGAs in the States in compliance with national and donor guidelines and policies.

Key Areas of Accountability
Provide effective support in the following regards:

Program Management:

  • Give program support to CBO activities in assigned LGAs
  • Represent the project in technical meetings
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of HIV Care and Treatment service delivery work plans.
  • Participate in the donor progress report writing and quarterly review report writing and presentation.
  • Provide technical support for Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance interventions at the community level
  • Monitor implementation of costed project work-plans and timely liquidations
  • Provide technical support for weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual project performance reviews, assessing progress in an objective manner.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship in the implementation of the HIV Care and Treatment service delivery at community level.
  • Support the Executive Director in the preparation of monthly or quarterly HIV/AIDS activities and reports as may be required for submission to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Executive Director in the development of the annual budget and signing of sub-agreement for the CBO.
  • Maintain an updated Asset / inventory register for all CBO platforms

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and/or MPH or other Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years’experience providing direct technical support in implementation of health service delivery project with specific experience in HIV service delivery projects,
  • Hands on experience in HIV service delivery and technical coordination, proven experience and familiarity with SMOH/GON health systems,
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, capable of directing and managing change, effective delegation, inspiring teamwork and motivating staff and partners to achieve results,
  • Computer literacy,
