Overview

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial health of the company and provide strategic financial guidance to the leadership team.
  • Manage and coordinate all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and financial policies, including overseeing statutory audits and tax compliance.
  • Conduct bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Perform financial accounting tasks, such as reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements, managing payroll, and overseeing receivables and payables.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Streamline financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Establish and document an effective operational framework for the finance team, ensuring efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • ACCA or ICAN in view or completed.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in an accounting position.
  • Previous experience working in a tech company.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks software.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
