We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: DPR Liaison Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the company HSE Procedure in all work activities.
  • Manage correspondence between corporate head office and other SBUs of NNPC Manage correspondence between Head office and DPR: handling approval notices for re-injection, Well Treatment, Field Development Plans, Wire Line Operations etc.
  • Support and Advise the Management Team on identifying and resolving issues with the authorities.
  • Handle and process payments/queries for NNPC vendors in Lagos
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships at all levels of Government and Regulatory Agencies to facilitate communication and advance the Company’s business interests Ensure that all permits licenses and approvals are current at all time.
  • Take minutes of operations team meetings at all governments agency meetings between them and Britannia-UKeep records and calculation of company’s (oil and gas) royalty to DPR, NNPC and ChevronInterface with DPR, NNPC and Chevron on royalty and gas flare payment penalty
  • Representation / Liaise with government Authorities.
  • Focal point for our client'sfor DPR and other government authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the appropriate people in the appropriate Ministries like DPR/NIMASA/NIPEX, NNPC (Etc.)
  • Inform the Management Team on any identified issues with government agencies.
  • Keep daily production inventory, communicate and present company daily production and offtake of crude to the management as well as keep such record for the production report to be presented to the Crude oil marketing department (COMD) on a monthly basis.
  • Specifically advise on potential and actual acceptability of strategic concepts by the government authority which will assist the management in creating acceptable development strategies and initiatives for the company’s operation.
  • Participate in the company’s tendering processes along with the chief finance officer especially in data appraisal for NNPC tenders.
  • Ensure regular information exchange and support to and from the company to DPR authorities and other government authorities in and at the National and Regional level.
  • Actively participate in meetings, forums held with agencies such as COMD, DPR, Nipex etc.
  • Other duties may be delegated by the Manager Exploration and Production or any other officials of the management as required to maintain an office filing system for all internal and external reports.
  • Preparation of PowerPoint report on production curtailment/lifting.
  • Obtain government approvals document for our client's in all of her business requirement, (Like NNPC Crude Export Permits, Certificate of Export Renewals, Crude Oil Shuttle Allocation, Crude Oil Nomination Document, NIMASA Flag Registration, and PPRA).

Compulsory Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sciences related field
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Must be able to use MS Office very well.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Candidate must be able to speak English Fluently.
