The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the Institutions established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2014. It is located in Ukana, Km 5, along Ikot Ekpene-Abak Road in Essien Udim Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. The Federal Polytechnics (Amendment) Act 2019 gives legal backing to the establishment of the Institution. It operates on two Campuses, Main and the Annex with four (4) Schools. All the Academic Programmes of the Polytechnic have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Institution pride itself on modern infrastructural facilities and state-of -the-art equipment.
