We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Officer (Assistant)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for preparing HSE Documentation, including documentation for tenders, review of HSE policies, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines, cary out HSE Inductions, training and meetings, conducting risk assessment and enforcing preventive measures, maintaining and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements and Skills

• BSc or HND in Safety or Environmental Management, Engineering or a relevant field is preferred
• Certification in Occupational Heath and Safety with a recognized institution
• Proven HSE Documentation experience of not more than 3 years inin the Oil and Gas Industry
• Proficient in Ms Office suite
• Working knowledge of safety management information system
• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation and procedures
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Diligent with great attention to details
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
