Job Description
- Experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on financial management experience.
- Adept at overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proven track record of ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and optimizing financial processes.
- Seeking to contribute expertise in finance and accounting to support the financial health and strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Present financial results and insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACA) are advantageous.
