We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Node.js Junior Backend Web Developer

Location: Lekki, Lagos Island - Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to translate project needs into scalable code.
• Develop server-side applications using Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
• Optimize database interactions with Sequelize ORM and PostgreSQL.
• Design and deploy scalable solutions using a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot issues for timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Sequelize ORM.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Exposure to Nest.js framework and Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar tech stack.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, containerization, and orchestration tools.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
