Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the required materials are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers.
• Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management and workers.
• Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement technological advancements in production processes.
• Regularly educating staff members on health and safety regulations.
• Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
• Staying up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Analyzing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations.
• Scheduling training sessions and refresher workshops as required.
• Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers.
• Identify potential risks in production processes and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and take proactive measures to ensure the safety of the production environment

Qualifications
Person Specification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience as a Production Technologist.
• Knowledge of production required.
• Ability to provide training.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• Capability to manage and lead engineering projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
