Job Title: Lead Facade Engineer / Architect

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Coordinating the below tasks of the technical department
• Take measurements
• Creating quotations
• Material breakdown.
• On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
• Create Viability
• Preparation of contracts
• Managing Contractors
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations
• Previous experience with façade works is critical – structural steel, curtain wall, skylight, metal works …etc.
• Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
• Travelling might be required at times. (expenses covered) .
• Innovation in the product line. (creation of new system)
• Working closely in conjunction with marketing. (going for technical meetings, Presentations, creating marketing tools).
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required for the Role

• Must have an Engineering / Architectural / Quantity Surveyor background
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)
• Must be able to produce 2d/3d drawings.
• Experience and understanding of window systems and composition, roofing solutions, partitions, curtain wall, cladding, automatic door and handrails
• Experience in Dye creation/design i.e. new product creation.
• Must have experience in Estimating
• Experience in the aluminum and glass industry for a minimum of 5 years

Salary
$2,000 / month.
