We are a Software Quality Assurance and Testing Services provider. Our primary goal is to be the "go to" Quality Assurance & Software Testing company in East and West Africa while developing offshore resources to fill test automation positions (and other hard to find software testing capabilities) in the North America and European markets.

Job Title: UI / UX Designer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer with 3 to 5 years of proven expertise to join our creative team.
• As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience of our digital products.

Responsibilities
User Research:

• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions.
• Create user personas and user journey maps.

Wireframing And Prototyping:

• Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing.

UI Design:

• Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create pixel-perfect mockups and collaborate with developers for implementation.

Usability Testing:

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and validate design choices.
• Analyze usability test results and incorporate insights into design improvements.

Design Systems:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems.
• Ensure consistency in design elements and patterns across platforms.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
• Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to team members.

Stay Updated:

• Stay informed about industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
• Share insights and knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX projects and design process.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Proto.io).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate on designs effectively.
• A passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Experience with motion design and animation.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
• Previous experience working in agile or iterative development environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles and guidelines.
• Contributions to design communities or open-source projects.
